Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new customers in local and regional markets
  • Conduct heavy cold calling
  • Grow account base and work with regional team for customer handoffs
  • Support customer needs within regional territory
  • Collaborate with sales support staff for administrative support
  • Develop relationships within customer organizations
  • Align with local service center for customer acquisition and growth strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • Competitive nature with a hunter mentality
  • Strong desire to succeed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to be productive in various work environments
  • Available and flexible to work evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of professional sales experience
  • 2 years of experience in transportation or Less Than Truckload (LTL)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
