Key Responsibilities
Identify new customers in local and regional markets
Conduct heavy cold calling
Grow account base and work with regional team for customer handoffs
Support customer needs within regional territory
Collaborate with sales support staff for administrative support
Develop relationships within customer organizations
Align with local service center for customer acquisition and growth strategy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
Competitive nature with a hunter mentality
Strong desire to succeed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid time management and organizational skills
Ability to be productive in various work environments
Available and flexible to work evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of professional sales experience
2 years of experience in transportation or Less Than Truckload (LTL)
Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint)
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
