The position involves working 180 night shifts per year with residents and interns, managing an average of 17 admissions per night. Job Summary and Responsibilities

• 180 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (6:00 pm 6:00 am)
• Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload. In addition, there are 2-3 residents/interns in the team. Average admissions 17/night for the whole team.
• Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care. Superb inhouse subspecialty support. Magnet hospital - rarely need to transfer a patient out!

• Academic affiliation with Internal Medicine residency program at Creighton University School of Medicine at Phoenix.

Job Requirements

• MD or DO Degree
• BC/BE
• Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
• Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals

$130.01 - $172.55 /hour
