Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you will provide spiritual support and guidance to Sailors and Marines, conducting services and performing ceremonies while promoting their overall well-being. This role allows you to make a significant impact during both joyful and challenging times in the lives of service members.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Visit and provide spiritual care to hospitalized personnel
Train lay leaders conducting religious education programs
Promote attendance at religious services and retreats
Advise leaders on morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a recognized religious organization
