Key Responsibilities
Perform various radiology procedures accurately and efficiently
Initiate proper intervention when an exam indicates immediate attention
Review indications for exams and report inappropriate indications
Provide complete and accurate exam data for interpretation
Utilize PACS, RIS, HIS EMR systems and perform clerical duties
Archive image data for permanent storage and send images to radiologists
Understand medical and legal implications related to imaging reports
Maintain department policies, procedures, and quality standards
Assist/mentor staff and students with training and orientation
Assist with record maintenance as required by standards and regulations
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology
ARRT Certification within 60 days
