Job Description
Join the U.S. Army as a Preventive Medicine Officer and play a vital role in the health and wellness of Soldiers and their families. You'll lead health protection efforts, oversee public health functions, and have opportunities for professional growth and specialized training.
Key Responsibilities
Provide health and wellness opportunities to Army Soldiers, retirees, and their families
Establish and direct physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
Train and mentor other medical personnel
Lead and direct Force Health Protection efforts
Direct and oversee public health core functions: assessment, policy development, and assurance
Required Qualifications
U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
Completed at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
Completed a training program in preventive medicine
Permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates (for foreign graduates)
