Join Optum as a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy. You will play a crucial role in dispensing prescriptions and providing exceptional service to patients, all while being part of a team that makes a meaningful impact on lives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
Fill prescription orders and ensure they are available for verification
Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies
Process wholesaler medication orders
Maintain inventory records and verify medication stock
Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and compliance
Perform clerical duties related to the department
Communicate effectively with verbal and written skills
Travel to the post office and local sites as needed
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Texas
Reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
Ability to use own vehicle for travel
Preferred Qualifications
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English
