Job Description

As a Lead Teller at Capital Credit Union, you will oversee the teller line's quality of service, assist members with a variety of transactions, and lead your team by promoting member advocacy and exceptional service. You'll play a key role in training staff, resolving issues, and ensuring efficient operations within the branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise teller line operations and employee performance
  • Assist members with transactions and inquiries
  • Promote Capital’s products and services
  • Train and develop tellers
  • Audit cash drawers
  • Handle member complaints
  • Delegate workflow within the teller area
  • Assist with Teller Supervisor duties in their absence

Required Qualifications

  • High school education
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience with on-line computer terminals and office machines
  • Knowledge of products and services for processing transactions
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical skills for problem resolution
  • Interpersonal skills for member interaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Credit Union operations
  • Leadership skills
  • Experience in employee training and development
