Job Opportunity: PCU RN - Nights and Weekends
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PCU RN to join our team on a Nights and Weekends shift. This role requires floating to like units and candidates must have critical care experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility.
Shift Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, weekends only (Friday to Monday)
- Contract Length: 54 weeks
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Float to MSTEPIC and other like units as required.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring the highest level of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: A minimum of 3 years of recent Tele RN experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility.
- License/Certification:
- Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS Certification
- Vaccination: Fully vaccinated against Flu and COVID-19 with one booster required.
