As a Senior Project Manager in Mining Construction, you will lead high-value projects, ensuring safety, quality, and execution excellence. This role involves extensive collaboration with clients and partners across multiple disciplines, while also providing strategic direction to project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage entire site management team
Communicate with client, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
Champion Corporate Safety Plan and develop site-specific safety plans
Review completions status and schedule progress
Lead jobsite safety reviews and training
Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations
Manage cost forecasting and cashflow for the project
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and construction management
Eleven (11) years of construction field experience
Experience in heavy industrial construction in industries such as fossil power generation, mining, metals, heavy manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
Ability to read and analyze engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
Strong work ethic, passion for safety, and commitment to ethics and integrity
Willingness to travel extensively and relocate for projects
