A Telemedicine Diagnostic Radiology Physician provides remote diagnostic imaging interpretation across various modalities including X-rays, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine. Responsibilities include timely reading of exams, prioritizing critical cases, and communicating results efficiently to support patient care at multiple hospital locations. The role requires an active California medical license and board certification in Interventional Radiology, with flexible weekend shifts and competitive compensation.
Job Description & RequirementsTeleradiologists needed in Southern California (3 MD/DO - 1 covering 2 hospitals, 1 covering 1 hospital)
-Scheduled Sat/Sun 8a to 4p (1 doctor) - 1 need
-Scheduled Sat/Sun 4p to 12a (1 doctor) - 1 need
-Scheduled Sat/Sun 1p to 9p (1 doctor) - 1 need
-60-90 day credentialing
-Plain films and small bowl
-U/S, MRI, CT, MSK, NM
-12 exams (mixed modality) per hour, minimum
-Read all pending exams
-Canno refuse exams
-Statrad redirection - used as nighthawk servce
-TAT for routine = 4 hours
-Stat orders - read oldest to newest except for Trauma, Stroke, Critically ill patients
-Tiger text response: the radiologist shall respond to messages via tiger text in a timely manner.
Required:
-Active CA license
-BC Interventional Radiology
Facility Location Compensation Information:
$339.50 / Hourly - $367.50 / Hourly
