Job Description
Join Judson Park as a Part-Time Infection Preventionist RN, where you'll lead efforts to maintain a safe and infection-free environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement vital infection control policies, making a significant impact on the health and safety of residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of the facility infection prevention and control program (IPCP)
Developing and implementing infection prevention policies and procedures
Surveillance for communicable diseases and infections
Recording incidents and corrective actions under the IPCP
Guidelines for decontamination and sterilization activities
Annual review and update of the IPCP
Required Qualifications
Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program for an RN
Current LPN/LVN or RN license in Applicable State
Current CPR certification
Minimum of two years of nursing experience or one year as a nursing supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, medical technology, public health, or other healthcare science
Specialty training in Infection Prevention and Control through accredited continuing education
Skilled Nursing or Senior Care experience
Proficient computer skills necessary for documentation and communication
