Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process design and improvements in a collaborative, cross-functional team. Use your engineering expertise to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes that enhance productivity and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, control, and improvement of manufacturing processes
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Support manufacturing areas with troubleshooting and engineering changes
Lead non-conforming material analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide technical support to manufacturers and fabricators
Develop and implement manufacturing process control
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with technical documentation interpretation
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience leading teams or projects
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
