Sable Corporation is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Redding, California.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a high-performing surgical services team in California. This is a full-time position with a consistent weekday schedule and mandatory on-call and call-back responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in circulating and/or scrubbing, confident working with DaVinci Xi robotic procedures, and experienced in high-acuity OR settings.
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting
Assist with surgical preparation, intraoperative procedures, and post-op transitions
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
Monitor patient condition and advocate for safe outcomes throughout the surgical experience
Document all assessments, procedures, and communications in the hospital EMR
Maintain infection control and comply with safety protocols and surgical standards
Fulfill on-call and call-back requirements, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
Current and valid California RN license (Required)
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA – Required)
Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience (Required)
Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic surgeries (Preferred)
Acute care hospital OR experience (Required)
Strong understanding of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative workflow
Ability to remain calm, focused, and collaborative in high-pressure OR environments
