*Shift*: Day shifts w/ Shared call requirements
*The value you’ll bring to the team:* * Demonstrates a working knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique in accordance with AORN recommended standards * Demonstrates flexibility and understanding of assigned work duties. Adapts to changes in assigns duties by prioritizing appropriately. Proactively assists others with minimal supervision * Understands the preoperative diagnosis, common complications and operative pathology relating to specific surgical procedures. * Utilizes surgeon’s preference cards to appropriately execute a plan of care during the surgical procedure. * Selects and prepares necessary supplies and equipment.
*Qualifications*
*The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:* * Must be proficient in the English language * High school graduate or equivalent * Successful completion of an accredited school for Surgical Technology * Certification as Surgical Technician * BLS Required
