Role: Test Automation Engineer
Location: Northford – CT (complete onsite)
Experience: 8+ Years
Responsibilities:
- Product validation activities including Manual and Automation testing
- Extending the internally developed custom test framework (involving robotics, computer vision, distributed computing, and sensor simulation) and utilizing it for tests
- Enhancing the hardware test fixture for the framework
- Defining and developing automated test plans, cases, and procedures
- Developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts
- Delivering automated scripts as per plan and providing monthly updates to management
- Performing manual testing as needed to gain domain knowledge and facilitate test execution
- Collaborating with development teams on component and system test plans, frameworks, and code
- Working with local and global cross-functional teams
- Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy
Qualifications:
- Programming experience in Python, LabView, Matlab, or equivalent
- Experience as a multi-discipline engineer (Software, Electrical, Mechanical)
- Hands-on experience with Lab work
- Experience developing Test Frameworks (Open source or Custom)
- Knowledge of Computer Vision with OpenCV
- Experience with Robotics
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Work Arrangement:
Fully On-Site: Must be able to travel to an Arrow Client office as required.
