Position Summary: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs routine and complex nuclear imaging procedures, including preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, while ensuring patient safety, equipment quality control, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Sign-on Bonus: Up to $15,000 for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
- Ensure patient safety and deliver compassionate care to patients and families.
- Conduct daily quality control checks on imaging equipment.
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory safety standards.
- Report and assist in addressing equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care.
- Engage in continuous professional development in alignment with hospital values.
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health or related field.
Licensure/Certification:
- Registered by CNMT (Certification Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine).
- Must maintain active CNMT/CT and/or ARRT certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Advanced CT licensure required within one year of hire (6-month grace period).
