- Experience:

- Beds: 55 + 8–12 swing beds
- Trauma Bays: 4
- Patient Volume: ~250 patients/day
- Ratios:
- Main ED: 4:1
- Fast Track (AC): 5:1
- Critical Care: 2:1
- Staffing Structure:
- 4 zones, each with RNs, 1–2 MSTs, resource nurse
- Charge Nurse, EMS intake coordinator, triage/protocol nurses
- Fast Track Unit: Yes (Accelerated Care)
- Triage: Separate area; travelers may do triage only after passing orientation/testing (most do not)
- ER Holds: RNs manage their own holds; support available from other unit nurses
- Psych Rooms: Yes – 24/7 monitor tech & in-house security
- Security Presence: Strong – includes stationed personnel in and around Zone 4
- Common Diagnoses: STEMI, Stroke, DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, Behavioral Health, Respiratory issues

- EMR: EPIC (ASAP)
- Procedures & Equipment:
- RNs draw ABGs & small-dose breathing tx
- RTs manage vents, CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow, etc.
- MSTs & RNs perform ECGs
- Phlebotomy: RNs & MSTs
- Telemetry: RNs and MSTs read strips
- Imaging: X-ray & CT in ED; RNs transport critical patients

- Cancellation Policy: 1 shift per 2-week period
- RTO Policy:
- Up to 10 days off allowed without hospital approval (pre-screening only)
- More than 10 days or holidays require hospital approval
