Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) / Colorectal Plainville

Key Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care for in office consultations, including assessment, workups, triage, and procedures
• Assists attending surgeon in the operating room with colorectal procedures
• Obtains and documents health history and performs physical exams
• Provides counseling to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment
• Collaborates with physicians to provide care interventions within scope of practice
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals and conducts patient follow-up
• Documents patient health care files and completes required forms
• Initiates timely call-backs for urgent care
• Maintains involvement with clinical policy development
