We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Geriatric Psychiatry team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience working with older adults, and the ability to provide safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered behavioral health care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to geriatric patients with psychiatric and cognitive conditions
• Perform mental status assessments, medication administration, and behavioral monitoring
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support crisis intervention and ensure a safe therapeutic environment
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care needs

Qualifications:

• Active NYS Registered Nurse License
• BLS certification
• Experience in psychiatric, geriatric, or behavioral health settings preferred
• Strong communication, de-escalation, and critical thinking skills
