Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where you will enhance manufacturing processes and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions. Utilize your engineering expertise to lead process improvements and ensure efficient production, contributing to national defense and security.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, control, and improvement of manufacturing processes
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Support daily manufacturing with troubleshooting and engineering changes
Lead non-conforming material analysis
Implement process improvements using Six Sigma principles
Provide real-time support to manufacturers
Develop manufacturing performance monitoring
Drive ergonomics into processes
Lead corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
U.S. citizenship for security clearance eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience leading teams/projects
Technical documentation interpretation
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of CORE principles
Technical drawing interpretation and GD&T
Proficiency with CAD tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Strong written and oral communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and machinery
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
