Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Full accountability for food cost, food waste, staffing and wages, HACCP, production, pars, orders, and cleanliness
Supervises and partners with the Assistant Kitchen Manager
Ensures proper staffing in all kitchen positions
Maintains food quality and safety by following and teaching procedures and recipes
Oversees inventory and orders
Ensures kitchen equipment is operational
Participates in hiring and training of new staff
Maintains cleaning standards
Creates schedules for kitchen staff
Works within a budget to maintain costs and minimize waste
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant
Strong culinary knowledge and love of food
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Financial understanding of sales, costs of sales and labor
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Familiarity with a variety of kitchen equipment
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Willingness to run occasional front of house shifts
