Oversee infection prevention programs and initiatives

Required Qualifications
Minimum of five years of infection prevention experience in a hospital setting
Baccalaureate degree in nursing
Current certification in Infection Prevention and Control
Current State of Texas professional nursing licensure
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing
Post-graduate courses in epidemiology, infection prevention or disease control
Completion of CDC or APIC sponsored infection prevention training
