Job Description
Join Raytheon's mechanical design team as a Senior Principal Low Observable Design, Analysis and Test Engineer, where you'll work on cutting-edge projects in stealth technology. Your expertise will contribute to the lifecycle of Low Observable weapon systems, from design to testing, ensuring national security through innovative engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct design, analysis, and testing related to Low Observable technology
Develop proposals and Basis of Estimate (BOE)
Perform RCS predictions and analyze data
Document test preparation and results, and present findings
Collaborate within integrated product teams on design efforts
Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and manage project impacts
Occasional travel for training and business
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Ten years of engineering experience including Low Observable technology or Radar Cross Section or Computational Electromagnetic Codes
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LO targets testing
Knowledge of absorber material treatments and RF testing techniques
Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals
Experience with Infrared signature analysis
Programming skills in C++, MATLAB or similar
Advanced radar system development experience
Strong presentation and communication skills
Familiarity with computational electromagnetic codes
