Job Description
Join the ASPCA as a Lead Veterinarian, where you will lead a dedicated team providing essential veterinary care to underserved communities. You will mentor fellow veterinarians, ensure high-quality animal care, and make a significant impact on animal welfare while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at veterinary clinics
Train veterinarians in HQHVSN techniques and other medical protocols
Support a positive work culture through regular 1:1s and feedback
Perform high-quality spay/neuter procedures and provide veterinary care
Participate in administrative tasks such as scheduling and meetings
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Preferred Qualifications
Previous people management experience strongly preferred
