Job Description

Join Samaritan Health Services as a Pharmacy Purchasing Coordinator to manage purchasing activities and ensure compliance across the system. You will play a key role in inventory management and vendor relations, optimizing pharmaceutical care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates system purchasing program activities
  • Monitors compliance with purchasing contracts
  • Assists with inventory management
  • Manages shortages and backorders
  • Coordinates annual physical inventory
  • Acts as primary contact for vendors

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or currently enrolled first-year PharmD student with Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license
  • Three years pharmacy technician and purchasing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Epic Inpatient Willow
  • 340B experience
