Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to members to improve medication adherence
Gather prescription refill orders and provide customer service
Determine eligibility for the Medical Assistance Program
Document accurate information from calls
Perform desk and on-site reviews of claims documentation
Support internal staff and providers with Medicare drug issues
Mentor new employees as a subject matter expert
Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives
Maintain eligibility information confidentially
Adhere to assigned schedule and quality metrics
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in Texas
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
1+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
6+ months of experience in a call center setting
Intermediate level of knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
Intermediate level of writing skills
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
PBM experience
Beginner level of knowledge of NCPDP
Working knowledge of Medicare Part B and Part D
Bilingual
