FTE : Part Time, 0.Shift : Flex. Mix of 12 and 8 hour shifts
Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. This position will float to all Colorado Springs and Woodland Park hospital locations. Hours vary based on hospital start times and can be between 8 - 12 hour shifts depending on location. Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
~6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
