As an ADON , this role typically involves both clinical oversight and administrative leadership , including:

• Assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) with daily operations
• Supervising nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Ensuring regulatory compliance (state/federal)
• Developing care plans and overseeing quality of care
• Participating in hiring, training, and evaluating nursing personnel
• Assisting with audits, surveys, and performance improvement
• Covering for the DON as needed
• Serving as a liaison between nursing staff and administration
