Key Responsibilities
Support development and integration of communications subsystems
Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Perform model-based systems engineering and capture requirements
Conduct performance and functional analyses
Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans
Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders
Develop and maintain supplier documentation
Perform testing of subsystem requirements in the lab
Support technical discussions with customers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience, or Master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or Ph.D. and 1 year of experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum
Experience in designing, integrating, testing, and operating communication systems in airborne military applications
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and data analysis experience
Knowledge of system engineering design methods
Demonstrated interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Experience with RF antenna and component design
Experience in model-based systems engineering using SysML tools
Experience in performance analysis using MATLAB and Excel
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
Experience in supplier/subcontract management
