Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurses for a day shift assignment in Americus, GA. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with a wide variety of acute medical conditions. The ideal candidate will bring proven Med-Surg experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective patient care to a diverse Med-Surg population.
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, ESRD, pneumonia, sepsis, and post-surgical recovery.
• Administer medications, monitor IVs, and provide detailed patient assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospitalists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Work 12-hour day shifts, with weekend and holiday rotations as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license (compact accepted if applicable).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med-Surg hospital experience (required).
• Current BLS certification (required).
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holidays.
• Flexibility to float as needed.
