The Regional Owner Operator - Class A at Clean Harbors is responsible for safely operating tractor trailer units on long-haul routes primarily across the Southeast, averaging 2600-3000 miles per week. The role includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, proper loading and securing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, maintaining trip documentation, and adhering to DOT requirements. Compensation includes hourly demurrage rates, mileage pay, and a comprehensive benefits package with a focus on health and safety.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in El Dorado, AR! This route runs from El Dorado, AR to various locations in the Southeast and averages 2600-3000 miles per week.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year
• Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
