As a Health Screener at Biolife Plasma Services, you'll engage with donors, ensuring their safety while performing vital screenings and supporting plasma center operations. Your role is crucial in collecting high-quality plasma that contributes to life-changing medicines.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring their safety
Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs
Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and maintain accurate records
Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement
Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role
