Key Responsibilities
Collaborate in a team environment to execute capital projects for manufacturing facilities
Take responsibility for the mechanical aspects of projects including design and project management
Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
Create and maintain sustainable documentation for engineering and maintenance teams
Design solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
Specify and solicit equipment quotations
Deliver technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Coordinate with process engineering, production, and maintenance teams
Work closely with outside engineering and construction personnel
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Demonstrates good judgment, self-motivation, and a commitment to safety
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Flexibility to handle diverse assignments
Ability to perform hands-on work
Technically proficient in CAD modeling (Solid Edge; AutoCAD preferred)
Willingness to occasionally work off shifts and travel as required
