Job Description
Join Raytheon as an Effector Production Section Leader, where you'll manage and mentor a team responsible for critical electronics subsystems in airborne production. This role offers the opportunity to lead engineering efforts and contribute to national defense through innovative technology.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of 15 to 20 AEP engineers
Perform hiring, staffing, performance evaluations, and mentoring/coaching
Oversee expense reports and timecard approvals
Lead AEP program responsibilities (80%-90% program tasking, 10%-20% functional tasking)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics (STEM degree)
Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles
Experience with RF subsystem development, including design, analysis, and/or test
Experience leading a technical team
Preferred Qualifications
MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Equivalent
Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle
Experience in troubleshooting electronics systems
Coaching, teaching and/or mentoring skills
Strong emotional intelligence skills
Experience in creation and/or improvement of engineering development processes
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
Strong engineering development discipline and process advocacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Ability to acquire a Special Access Programs Clearance
