Triage Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics | $2,668/week | Peterborough, NH

We are seeking a skilled Triage RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a pediatric clinic in Peterborough, NH . This is a great opportunity for a nurse experienced in outpatient and telephone triage settings who enjoys working with pediatric patients and families in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: August 4, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 5x8s (40 hrs/week); occasional Saturday (8a–12p)
• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,668
  • Hourly W2 Pay: $31/hr
  • Stipends: $1,428/week (tax-free, based on eligibility)

Please note: This is a travel assignment. Candidates with a taxable home address within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.

Job Summary: As a Pediatrics Office Nurse (Triage RN) , you will coordinate and deliver professional nursing care, largely via phone-based triage, for patients across all age groups—with a strong emphasis on pediatric care. You will work independently under medical direction and established protocols, collaborating closely with providers and support staff to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform telephone triage, assessing symptoms, giving medical advice, and directing care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to develop and follow care plans
• Educate patients and families on medications, diagnoses, and follow-up instructions
• Accurately document interactions and care plans in EMR
• Mentor and guide support staff (LPNs, MAs) as needed
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures
• Provide support in a clinic/office setting

Requirements:

• Current NH or Compact RN license – Active and in hand (required)
• BLS (AHA)– Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in clinic or medical office setting
• Strong triage/telephone experience (approx. 80% of time on phone)
• Experience with all age groups; pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Prior Critical Access Hospital experience is a plus
