Job Description
Join AdventHealth Shawnee Mission as a Radiology Technologist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services. You'll work nights, providing compassionate care and ensuring patient safety while utilizing advanced imaging technology.
Key Responsibilities
Performs Radiographic imaging procedures
Positions, moves, and assists patients
Performs clerical duties
Performs basic patient care within scope of practice
Adheres to Hospital Corporate compliance plan and regulations
Completes required documentation for Radiologist support
Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly
Educates patients concerning exams and screens for allergies
Maintains clean and organized work environment
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent two years of experience in a related field
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Science program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Completion of Radiologic Technology training and A.R.R.T. registration
General Radiographer state license as required by state (KS LRT)
