Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs
Tailor and incorporate range safety requirements into design and procedures
Perform MIL-STD-882 System Safety Program tasks and analyses
Analyze hardware, mechanical and electrical drawings for safety compliance
Coordinate with customer safety representatives and engineering teams
Manage System Safety Working Group(s) with key representatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Safety Engineering
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DoD System Safety Programs (e.g., MIL-STD-882)
Experience in electrical systems and/or weapon combat systems
Experience with Engineering Change Proposals and Engineering Review Boards
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Proposal Development
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret or Secret SCI Clearance
