Key Responsibilities

Perform VIPK inspections (visual, internal, pressure, leakage)
Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely
Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance in the shop
Order parts and maintain inventory
Conduct tank tests and ensure compliance with standards
Perform repairs to tanks within qualifications
Apply proper decaling to tanks
Maintain tools and test equipment
Assist with finding qualified repair shops

Required Qualifications

3+ years’ experience as a tank inspector (VIPK inspections)
High school diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License
Strong computer skills
1+ years diesel mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks and/or equipment

Preferred Qualifications

HM-183 Register Inspector (Tank Inspector) Certificate
Experience operating heavy equipment
