Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist Level 1 and play a vital role in designing and monitoring behavior management programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. This position involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations while providing essential support to clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Management Programs
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Develop Individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations
Provide training and support to staff and families
Participate in audits and team meetings
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology
Training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development
National board certification in Behavior Analyst (BACB) or NYS license as a Behavior Analyst (LBA)
NYS license in mental health counseling
Preferred Qualifications
Three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Experience in developing and implementing behavior support plans
