Key Responsibilities
Assist in design of electrical projects and install electrical equipment
Coordinate efforts with other workers in installation and maintenance
Consult with operators and engineers to resolve problems
Study blueprints and schematics to determine installation procedures
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
Inspect and advise on equipment safety
Maintain equipment logs and records
Repair, install, and adjust equipment and components
Adhere to safety regulations and standards
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Physical ability to perform job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold
Ability to work in elevated areas
Must be able to operate machinery
Must be able to read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills including data entry and retrieval
Ability to work overtime
Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts
Must be able to perform electrical maintenance trade
Experience working with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications
Must be able to operate mobile equipment
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical functions
Must be willing and able to work in inclement conditions and extreme temperatures
Must have very good time management skills
Install conduit and pull wire
Strong commitment to safety
Must have adequate transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Mechanical aptitude to work from various blueprints and maintenance manuals
Apprentice, Journeyman, or above license in Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical, electrical systems, or equivalent
