Obstetrics and Gynecology - Physician at Dignity Health Medical Group - Phoenix - CommonSpirit Health summary:

A board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician providing comprehensive OBGYN care including deliveries, gynecological surgeries, contraceptive and hormonal treatments, and resident education. The role involves clinical integration with specialized sub-divisions, academic teaching responsibilities, and participation in research activities. Located in Gilbert, AZ, this faculty position supports a new ACGME accredited OBGYN residency program within a collaborative medical group environment.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

  • Full scope OBGYN services including: deliveries, antepartum and intrapartum care. Along with annual examinations, gynecological surgery, contraceptive care and hormonal replacement.
  • Candidates should be interested in educating residents in OBGYN, as well as rotating residents from Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
  • Research or scholarly activities are expected with .2 FTE carve out for teaching and academics
  • In house call

Job Requirements

  • MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification or Board Eligible
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
  • Completed ACGME Residency training
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
  • Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry, while serving the poor and under privileged

This acacdemic OBGYN position with Dignity Health Medical Group is located in the Phoenix metro suburb of Gilbert, AZ . This employed position is intended to function as core clinical faculty for an anticipated new ACGME acredited OBGYN residency program. Gilbert, AZ, is a vibrant and family-friendly town situated in the southeast part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Pay Range
$150.00 - $202.46 /hour
