Job Description: Maintenance Technician
"75 per hour
~+$1/hour shift differential for night shift
~2 opportunities for performance raises in your first year
~20% built-in overtime
We work a modified 2-2-3 schedule working 12-hour day or night shifts.
Nights: 6:00pm-6:00am; +20% built in overtime (48-hour weeks)

Our Mechanics are multi-craft mechanics; they work on everything from facility maintenance to our production equipment. Our ideal candidate will have a variety of mechanical and electrical skillsets.
Candidates with solely residential maintenance experience
Machine operators who do preventative maintenance
Mechanics with only mechanical OR only electrical experience
Experience working with boilers and steam systems
Strong welding and fabrication experience
Mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting (does not have to be food related)
Mechanics with both electrical and mechanical experience

As a team member, the Manufacturing Mechanic maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs high-volume food manufacturing equipment. They prioritize personnel and food safety at all times.
Respond and react to mechanical issues in the production environment in a timely and efficient manner.
Complete maintenance projects - PM tasks and work orders as assigned.
Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
Write parts requests, complete work orders, and write corrective work orders
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Perform building inspections and routines
Minimum 4 years work experience in a maintenance mechanic environment.
Must have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Must be computer literate.
Food manufacturing background a plus with an understanding of FDA requirements
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Welding, Machining, Plumbing, Pipefitting, Electricity
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
