Responsibilities

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work at a Facility in Los Angeles, CA. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $36 / hour

*W2

Shift Details:

  • 40 hrs per week
  • 8 hrs 13 weeks
  • Days, Weekends and Holidays Nursing Specialty:
  • ODR-Housing Program Qualifications:
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical experience.
  • Required certifications include active Licensed Vocational Nurse license, BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety

card (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccination.

  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
  • Must have up to date certification in the state of CA
  • MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
  • Fire Card

Assignment Information:

This role will be working on the ODR

Housing program, a permanent supportive housing program serving individuals who are homeless, who have a serious

mental health disorder, and who are incarcerated in the Los Angeles County Jail. Individuals should be comfortable working

in a locked carceral environment with frequent interactions with justice involved individuals.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical experience. Required certifications include active Licensed Vocational Nurse license, BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccination.
