Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Explains procedures and treatments to patients and families
Administers prescribed medications and treatments
Conducts comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions
Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures
Maintains a safe and comfortable environment for patients
Documents comprehensive patient information
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans
Manages multiple patients efficiently
Ensures infection control practices are followed
Advocates for patients’ needs and preferences
Facilitates discharge planning
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
NIHSS certification
ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required
