Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team providing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments to our nation's veterans. This role requires general medicine providers who have their own office within a 50-mile radius of various locations in Houston, Missouri.

Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is a government contractor committed to serving those who have served. This position is on a PRN basis, offering flexibility in scheduling with options for half-day or full-day work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete required administrative follow-up work, such as addendums and medical opinions.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout the evaluation process.
• Ensure timely submission of examination reports.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• Ability to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is a plus.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current license in Missouri (MO).
• AANP certification required.
• Willingness to provide license and certification numbers during the application process.
