Job Description
Join Clean Harbors as a Class A CDL Driver, where you'll operate various heavy and light duty trucks, performing critical duties in hazardous waste clean-up. Emphasizing safety and sustainability, you'll be part of a team dedicated to innovative environmental solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority
Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers
Operate a variety of Class A trucks
Loading and unloading of trucks
Manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs
Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations
Safely operate vehicles in accordance with regulations
Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis
Site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials
Required Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL
Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
Ability to use various mobile devices
Perform physical functions per job requirements
Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial driver experience
Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
Previous Hazmat experience
Ability to operate a manual transmission
Previous manual labor experience
