Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Float
Locations available: Warren, MI 48093
Duration: 13 Weeks of contract ( Possibility of extension )
Shift Timing: 7.00 pm to 7.30 am (3x12 )

Schedule Notes: In float position, staffed every 4 hrs.; could be pulled to ED and ED obs . Typical patient ratio is max 1:6 Level 3 trauma MUST HAVE 2 years minimum recent and relevant ED experience MUST HAVE ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS NICE TO HAVE TNCC, ENPC or PALS, CPI

Job Summary:
• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions..

Required Skills & Experience:
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Education:
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certification & Licensure:
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS
