Job Description

Join Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters as a Radiological Technologist in the Urgent Care department, where you'll play a vital role in patient care by performing critical radiologic procedures. You'll work collaboratively with a dedicated medical team to ensure accurate imaging and contribute to patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs radiologic procedures and examinations under direction of radiologists
  • Operates radiographic equipment and documents results
  • Maintains knowledge of radiation protection standards
  • Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures
  • Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action
  • Assists with clinical processes to support nursing/medical care

Required Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • CPR Training required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire
  • 2-3 years pediatric or general x-ray experience preferred
  • Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients/families, staff and physicians
  • Analytical skills for determining best methods for radiographs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric radiology
