Key Responsibilities
Provide financial advocacy counseling to patients/families
Educate patients on financial policies and assistance processes
Assist patients with insurance coverage and financial assistance applications
Review daily census to identify uninsured accounts
Contact uninsured patients and discuss payment options
Maintain eligibility as a Certified Application Counselor (CAC)
Required Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
1+ years of Patient Financial Advocate related experience
Experience with data entry and medical billing
Preferred Qualifications
Prior EPIC (EMR) experience
