Job Description
As an Anesthesiologist at Allied Digestive Health, you will ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures by administering anesthesia and monitoring vital signs. Collaborating with surgical teams, you will develop personalized anesthesia care plans, conduct pre-operative evaluations, and manage post-operative recovery to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary throughout the surgery
Conduct pre-operative assessments to evaluate patients' medical histories and anesthesia risks
Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs
Provide post-operative care and pain management solutions to ensure patient comfort and recovery
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Completion of an accredited residency program in anesthesiology
Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology
NJ Medical License in good standing, DEA and CDS
Preferred Qualifications
Fellowship training in a subspecialty of anesthesiology, such as pain management or pediatric anesthesiology
Experience in a variety of surgical settings, including outpatient and inpatient procedures
Proficiency in advanced anesthesia techniques and technology
